Colours creatively adapted from Moyer,Hasting and Raines, 2005 (http://pubs.usgs.gov/of/2005/1314/of2005-1314.pdf) which provides xls spreadsheets for various color schemes. Most of the colors come from lithclass 6.1 and 6.2 (see http://www.nadm-geo.org/dmdt/pdf/lithclass61.pdf for lithclass 6.1) plus some creative entries to fill missing entries.
			The list of term is from the CGI IWG Concept Definition Task Group (http://resource.geosciml.org/classifierscheme/cgi/201211/simplelithology) which uses text token URIs. This SLD assumes that a GeoSciML portrayal GeologicUnitView is the context node

            <Abstract>SLD to assign colors to GeoSciML-portrayal geologicUnitView polygons based on the representativeAge_URI, where URIs for the Fennoscandian Precambrian subdivisions are defined at https://www.seegrid.csiro.au/subversion/xmml/ontologies/tags/201208-IGC/GeologicTimeScale/CGI_PrecambrianTime.rdf, and for the International Stratigraphic chart are defined according to the 2012 version. The URI's should dereference via the CSIRO SISSvoc service by anchoring them to the 2012 time scale with requests like this:
				http://def.seegrid.csiro.au/sissvoc/isc2012/resource?uri=[the Time ordinal era URI in the ogc:Literal fields in this SLD].

Colors for Fennoscandian Precambrian period subdivisions are inherited from Era assignments in the OGE specification. URIs identify the ages and are associated with colors through sld rules. Colors are hex-encoded R-G-B values. URIs have been defined by CGI IWG according to the 2009-08 version of the ICS time scale.             <Abstract>SLD to portray all geosciml portrayal GeologicUnitView polygons based on representativelithology_uri. Colours creatively adapted from Moyer,Hasting and Raines, 2005 (http://pubs.usgs.gov/of/2005/1314/of2005-1314.pdf) which provides xls spreadsheets for various color schemes. Most of the colors come from lithclass 6.1 and 6.2 (see http://www.nadm-geo.org/dmdt/pdf/lithclass61.pdf for lithclass 6.1) plus some creative entries to fill missing entries.
			The list of term is from the CGI IWG Concept Definition Task Group (http://resource.geosciml.org/classifierscheme/cgi/201211/simplelithology) which uses text token URIs. This SLD assumes that a GeoSciML portrayal GeologicUnitView is the context node
			2015-10-07 updated to add INSPIRE lithology URIs mapped to CGI URIs, also additions for spellign mistakes on alkali-olivine basalt, phonolilte, and high_magnesium..rocks (should be rock).
